How to ask Qojix to delete your personal data, and what happens when you do.
What this covers
Qojix operates app.qojix.ai, a platform that real-estate agencies use to talk to property buyers over WhatsApp. This page is about the personal data we hold about buyers — the WhatsApp conversations, message contents, and the contact details and enquiry notes tied to them.
A deletion request does not remove an agency's own business content — its property listings, tours and videos — or the account and billing records we are required by law to keep.
If you are a buyer
If you have been messaging a property agent through WhatsApp and want your data deleted, tell the agent you have been chatting with that you would like your information removed. They can pass the request to Qojix on your behalf, and we will erase it.
If you are an agent using Qojix
You can request deletion of a buyer's data, or of your account's buyer data, from your account Settings, or by writing to us at privacy@qojix.ai. The Qojix team runs the erasure through the platform's data-request tooling.
What happens when you request deletion
Once we receive and confirm your request, the data becomes inaccessible immediately and is purged from our primary systems within 30 days at the latest.
When we delete a buyer's data, that buyer's message contents are deleted and their identifying details are removed. Message contents are encrypted with a key held per agent account; when an entire account's data is erased, we also destroy that key, which renders every encrypted message under it permanently unreadable everywhere it exists — including in any backups — with no waiting period for a backup to age out.
How long we keep data otherwise
When you have not asked us to delete it, we keep personal data only for as long as it is reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected — running the conversation and the agent's follow-up — and for a reasonable period afterwards, before it is anonymised or erased. We do not keep buyer personal data indefinitely.
